My son worked on his grandfather's cars to help him keep them running and got this Moke to use during high school for his efforts. He later bought the car as it was his "First Car".
I was looking pretty well used as the photos show before he decided to give it a significant cleaning.
And once you make one part look really good you decide to make the rest match. Well it evolved into a frame off.
The car was eventually going to be sent to Hawaii with him so he had the frame Powder coated and used stainless hardware where it was appropriate.
Notice the garage photo - you're looking at the complete car less the body.
I was supposed to be the helper but shortly after the car was in pieces my son's job took him to Hawaii and I got to finish it. Once done and I was driving it, I told him we would see which I love more him or the Moke.
I did ship it to Hawaii.
